activ8-3D gets set for TechFest

activ8-3D - the world’s leading 3D holographic projection systems supplier put on a show to remember and wowed an audience of more than 10,000 at this year’s TechFest - the biggest science and technology fair in Asia.

TechFest began in India more than a decade ago and was conceptualized as a platform for budding scientists and students. It is now considered Asia’s biggest science and technology fair, making it a magnet for students, academia and industry experts from around the world.

Taking their place amidst a plethora of technological grandeur, activ8-3D exhibited its award-winning 3D animated holographic. Given the Best New Product Award at the annual IAAPA Conference and Expo, activ8-3D demonstrated the visually captivating features of 3D holographics and its motion-captured animated characters designed to both entertain and interact with the audience. The motion-capture suit reveals the magic behind the masterpiece, and as audiences will eventually realise, any person wearing one of these incredible suits has the power to bring virtual characters to life.

During the TechFest exhibition, activ8-3D threw a tech-show featuring 3D displays, 3D holograms and a holographic display. Intended to captivate and wow onlookers, the mesmerizing display included life-size cars, virtual humans, robots and more.

Taking place in Mumbai, this year’s futuristic exhibition also featured a series of competitions and workshops. A fascinating series of exhibitions included the Indian Navy, National Disaster Management Authority and Indian Space Research. Futuristic insights such as the virtual world of cyber humans and a glimpse of robots that can fly, swim, walk and jump were on hand to take audiences into another dimension.
